Trojans lose to Ridgewood

Friday night in Norridge the Trojans dropped a conference game to the Ridgewood Rebels 50-55. Mike Pizzello (6 pts, 6 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 assists) and Mark Penczak (10 pts, 4 rebounds, 1 steal) played solid defense to go along with their offensive stats. Reggie Greenwood (14 pts, 7 assists), Justin Peeples (11 pts, 5 rebounds), and Rob Stein (7 pts, 5 rebounds) contributed as well. The Trojans did not shoot very well on the night (20-57 for 35%) and were outrebounded 35-26. Overall, not a very good night for the Trojans. We did battle to a tie at the end of the 3rd quarter as well as a flurry at the end of the game, but Ridgewood was able to execute down the stretch and hit their free throws for the finish. The Trojans hope to right the ship this week. The next game is Tuesday at Walther Lutheran at 7:30 pm and then on Friday at Illiana starting at 7:00 pm.
