Outstanding Season Ends In Super-sectional
The incredible ride in the state tournament ended on Tuesday night with a 70-55 loss to Top Ranked Hales Franciscan. The Trojans battled all game. Each time, Hales would make a run, the Trojans would battle back. At the end of the first quarter, the Trojans were behind 17-15. The second quarter was also back and forth and the Trojans were behind by a couple at the end of the quarter but Hales hit back to back 3 pt baskets to increase their lead to 33-26 at the half. Hales came out blazing in the 3rd quarter and built their lead to 15 points. The Trojans battled once again to close the gap to 7. Each time the Trojans battled back, Hales also had an answer. The final score was 70-55 but the game was tight throughout. Coach LeGrand was very proud of the Trojans as they battled so hard the entire game. Thank you to the Red Zone and the entire Timothy Christian Community for the support during this magical season and state tournament run. This team has made history and the seniors of Daihee Cho, Reggie Greenwood, Justin Peeples, Rob Stein, and Donte Williams will be missed. They have made a solid imprint on our Timothy Chrisitian Basketball Program.
