Trojans drop final two games at Lisle Tournament
The Trojans lost their final two games at the Lisle Thanksgiving Tournament this week. On Friday night, the Trojans ran into eventual champion Providence St. Mel. The pressure of the Knights was a bit too much for the Trojans as the final score had the Trojans on the losing end of a 79-45 score. Connor VanderBrug finished with 17 pts and 4 rebs. George Thompson had 6 rebs and Justin Rhiner had 5 rebs. The final night saw a rough shooting night for the Trojans. They lost to the host school the Lisle Lions 53-38. Connor VanderBrug (12 pts, 5 rebs, 3 blocks), Danny Leach (10 pts, 5 rebs, 3 stls), and George Thompson (8 pts, 4 rebs) were the stat leaders on the night. Congratulations to Connor VanderBrug who was selected on the Lisle All-Tournament Team. The Trojans will open up their home opener on Tuesday night vs. neighborhood rival Immaculate Conception at 7:30 pm. Please come out and support the Trojans as we open on our home floor.
