The Trojans captured a league victory on Friday night following an 18 day layoff. Both teams came out of the gate a little sluggish with the score nodded up at 15 after one quarter. The Trojans were able to take a 26-20 halftime lead by holding the Bisons to only 5 second quarter points. In the third quarter, TC faired even better using ball pressure and strong inside play to outscore Fenton 18-8 and go into the last quarter with an 18-pt lead. THe game with TC coming away with a 62-47 victory.
The Trojans improved their overall record to 9-5(4-1 conference) with the win. Their next game is also a road conference game at Illiana on Jan. 18 at 6pm. High scorer and rebounder for the game was Connor VanderBrug with 33 points and 9 rebounds. Wes Ditchfield contributed 5 points to go along with 5 Rebounds. Guard Joe Bishop came way with an impressive 6 steals to go along with 5 points and 2 assists and Justin Rhiner helped the cause with 8 points and 4 rebounds.
