On Friday night the Trojans faced the gators from Guerin Prep. The Trojans kept up their improved play and won 61-30. The team had 13 assists on the night and shot very well from the field. Once again, the Trojans showed strong balance in the victory. Riley Chapman (19 pts) had the hot hand early hitting 5 3pt shots. Robert McGivney had another solid game finishing with 18 pts, 12 res, 3 blocks, 2 assists. Ben Lodewyk also had a double double with 11 pts and 10 rebounds. The Trojans continued their run with solid play on the defensive end as well.
With the victory, the Trojans have moved into a 3 way tie for the conference lead in the Metro-suburban east division. The Trojans are now 10-10 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
The Trojans will play two home games this week. Tuesday night vs Elmwood Park at 7:30 for another conference game and a non-conference game on Friday night at 7:30 vs Aurora Christian. Please come out and support the Trojans.
