The game didn't disappoint as the teams provided intensity and battled back and forth. At the half, the Trojans trailed by one. During the 3rd quarter the Knights were able to secure a lead of 7 points. The Trojans would battle back and were down by 1 heading into the 4th quarter. During the 4th quarter, the Trojans were able to secure and advance their lead and hold on down the stretch for a 43-35 victory.
The Trojans were led by Robert McGivney with 16 pts, 11 Rebs, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. Joe Bishop had a solid all around game with 8 pts, 8 Rebs, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Riley Chapman (9pts 4 Rebs), Ben Lodewyk (7 pts, 4 assists, 2 res), Joey Davidson (3 pts, 4 Rebs), and strong play off the bench from Mitch Evenhouse and Josh Caver contributed to the win as well as the energy received from the entire team.
The Trojans are presently tied for 1st in conference play with 1 game remaining. We are 13-11 and 9-2 in conference. The next game is Tuesday night at Ridgewood at 7:00 pm. Thank you to all the fans for the support. It is very much appreciated.
