Trojans drop contest at Ridgewood

The Trojans were back in action on Friday for the first time since Dec. 31.  The Trojans traveled to Ridgewood and lost the conference game 54-45. The game was a close contest throughout. Late in the 4th quarter, the Rebels hit a couple big 3 pt shots and held on for the victory.  The Trojans were led in scoring by Joey Davidson (20 pts, 5rebs) and Trayvon Williams (10 pts, 7 Rebs). Rebounding was by committee as Jonny Strube (8 Rebs, 6 pts), Josh Caver (8rebs, 2 assists, 2pts), Mitch Evenhouse (4 Rebs, 7 pts), Jared Rhiner (4rebs, 2 assists), and Joe Bootsma (1 reb) all collected boards.  The Trojans struggled taking care of the basketball on this night and the turnovers were hard to overcome.  The Trojans have a busy schedule coming up with many games.  This week, they play a home game on Wednesday at 7:30 vs Glenbard South and on the road Friday vs IC Catholic Prep at 7:30.
